ENGLISH: "Trupa" is not a real word in either English or Italian, but this cute name is easy to remember and will grow to have meaning for us (we hope). "Truppa" with two P's is an Italian word meaning "group" or "troop", which is what this photo album web site is about. We are capturing the Benenati Klan and many extensions of the family in photos that span many years. Joseph Hayden wanted a place to permanently put thousands of his family photos for all of them and their friends to enjoy. He wanted this site to be centered around them, so voila. Joseph considers this web site project to be a gift to his mother, who has become quite a web-maven, to his pleasant surprise. This site was created on April 24, 2000. ITALIAN: «Trupa» non è una parola vera né in italiano né in Inglese ma é una parola scherzosa e facile da ricordare e avrà un significato per noi speriamo). «Truppa» con due «p» in italiano significa truppa o gruppo ed è ciò che questo sito col suo album di foto vuol significare. Ci sono fotografie dei Benenati e delle differenti ramificazioni della famiglia col passare degli anni. Joseph Hayden ha voluto un posto permanente per mettere le migliaia di fotografie dei familiari da rivedere e con cui divertirsi. Egli ha voluto in questo sito concentrarsi su di loro e niente altro, e allora...«voila»! Joseph considera questo progetto come un regalo a sua madre che è diventata, con sua grande sorpresa, un'esperta della rete. Questo sito è stato creato il 24 Aprile 2000. |
