Her obituary printed in the October 11, 2005 Monterey (CA) Herald and penned by her daughter, Joleen Hevner:

"Pauline Ferranti, 90, of Cottonwood, California died Friday, October 7, 2005 at Shasta Regional Medical Center in Redding. She was born June 24, 1915 in Kansas, lived 64 years in Monterey, and moved to Cottonwood to live with her daughter for the remainder of her life. Pauline graduated from Monterey High, class of '34. She was a member of Cottonwood Assembly of God. She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Joseph Ferranti, and her eldest son, Buddy Ferranti.  She is survived by her 3 sons, Edward Ferranti, of Monterey, Ron Ferrante of St. Louis, MO, and Rick Ferranti of Mountain View; and also her daughter, Joleen Ferranti Hevner of Cottonwood, CA.  She is further survived by her 10 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 11:00 am this Thursday, October 13 at the Mission Memorial chapel, 1915 Ord Grove Ave., in Seaside.  Flowers can be sent to Mission Memorial Thursday morning, or a monetary gift can be made to the charity of Pauline's choice, Cottonwood Assembly of God, 20404 Gas Pt. Rd, Cottonwood, CA 96022.  Condolences can also be sent to her daughter at joleenhevner @ charter.net."
